From Nadi to Suva you can go on a scenic 4 hour busdrive, take a mini bus, taxi, rental car or fly in 45 min.
Bus
there are two main bus operators. Buses run frequently from 7AM to 6:30PM (Suva-Nadi direction 6:45am to 7pm)
Pacific Bus (+679) 330 4366 http://www.pacifictransport.com.fj
Sunbeam (+679) 6662822 http://www.sunbeamfiji.com/
prefer the Pacific express buses for more room and comfort. Prices are same-same , should be no more than 17 FJD
MiniBus
Minibuses leave as and when there is need for them. Ask around in the busstation, they may leave from around the corner and take off when the bus is full, good if you are travelling with a big group and can fill up the whole 11 seats - there you have your own bus, can stop when and where you wish and drop you to your exact destination! Price should be up to 22 FJD.
Taxi
If you have too uch money to spare, private taxi will happily be at your service. Negotiate the price and time frame to cruise though.
Rental Car
Find the nearest tourdesk for help or ask for local cousin-brothers to provide the service. Be careful! And driving in those roads is not recommended for someone not born there. Driving culture is well....... different. U must look out for potholes on the road and left-handed driving being right-handed one every now and then.
Plain
Take a minute to think here. There is a thing called Fiji-time in Fiji. And the domestic plains sometimes run on this schedule. They might me late. All the time you would be spending in the airport, checking-in, waiting, 45 min flight, finding a transport to get from Suva Airport the 30 min journey into town - it is rational to travel this distance by bus. But up to you.
